This class is intended to give dedicated technicians the chance to learn skills they might not have an opportunity to explore during the tight production schedule. By removing these skills to a classroom/lab setting, we hope to be able to address the “how” and “why” of technical theatre in a way that allows technicians to more fully understand and practice their craft. We will explore the theory and practice of numerous construction and presentation technologies, as well as methods of integration and problem solving necessary to incorporate these technologies into a working production.
